Dear volunteer applicant,

We are excited about your interest in volunteering with Mental Health America of Virginia. We are thankful for our volunteers and interns and, you should know, we could not do this work without people like you! Mental Health America of Virginia does not provide direct services to mental health consumers. The majority of the duties of a volunteer or intern at MHAV is behind the scenes, working with staff and other volunteers to ensure that MHAV’s programs and advocacy focus is strong and relevant to our constituents. During the course of your time with MHAV you will have the opportunity for a wide range of projects.

If you are interested in volunteering with Mental Health America of Virginia, please fill out the Volunteer Application and send us a copy of your current resume.
