Workforce Re-Entry is a two-day commuter-style program will focus on the soft skills you need to find a job, to present yourself to a potential employer, or to understand dynamics in the workplace. This training is especially intended for our peers in recovery who may not have held full-time employment for some time. Learn tips to make your resume compelling and relevant, learn to take care of yourself in the modern workplace, and gain some tools to deal with pre-interview anxiety. We will explore all of these, and practice interview techniques including what questions to ask the interviewer.
Format: This commuter-style training takes place from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and include tuition, materials, and lunch. Participants are expected to arrange their own transportation to the program. Lodging is not provided.

Workforce Re-Entry applicant requirements:
- Complete the application and self-assessment questions
- Proof of Virginia residency (for scholarship applicants only)
- Two references that can attest to the applicant’s individual recovery and qualities in a group dynamic
Total cost for those who do not qualify for a scholarship or choose to self-pay is $400 which includes tuition and lunch.
