The (Re)STORE program uses Peer Recovery Specialists to facilitate trauma-informed training and recovery support for crime or trauma survivors anywhere in Virginia. MHAV is known for its mental health recovery and empowerment trainings, provided throughout Virginia and funded by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health for over 15 years. Facilitator Skills Training allows working and aspiring peer support specialists to learn the art of facilitation. Through this training, participants will learn and develop the skills necessary to effectively facilitate and tailor a training to any audience. This is a commuter-style training.
